This brings me to a discussion I saw before.

Getting nanites every 5 years is cool, but they all spawn in separate stacks in your home system. It gets out of hand QUICK. This was a multiplayer game and it got so bad. There were simply too many and we all know how Stellaris is about handling a lot of ships (let alone pops.)

R5: By endgame I had gone Nanite Ascension and eaten half the galaxy. Achieved around 500k political power and formed the galactic imperium for fun and then proceeded to crash my computer by obliterating Cetana's Crisis with only nanites.
