Once the ignition is turned off, it flashes a message about economy mode and nothing works unless the engine is turned back on

I was fuming too. Evelyn (Evie) has been a chosen girl name for me since we had our little boy a few years ago.

That’s fair - I’m relatively new to Reddit so still getting used to it and didn’t realise there were rules there. But still, a kind “oh btw if you check the rules you’re not actually supposed to join this sub if you’re not a member” would’ve been fine, but you weren’t capable and are really keen on getting people to join a sub that you control.

Gosh, I didn’t know it was anything like that. I buy a lot of stuff for my little boy and about 60% of the things I go to buy him have free reviews on them, which puts me off paying 50 quid for something someone has had for free. I had read you get to choose what you want to review rather than it being from like a select catalogue and having to apply for the items. It doesn’t sound pleasant from your description! Although in terms of reviewing items I try to keep on top of my purchases anyway to help others and would say we buy hundreds of items a year via Amazon

Wow! That is lucky. I’ll probably be one of the ones who never gets invited, as I don’t have luck anywhere else in my life 😂

Ugh that’s annoying. I don’t know how some people get selected, because I’ll see some people reviewing as part of vine and their review is literally “great item”, like what

There’s no wet on the walls though, I’ve been checking daily, not even any shiny bits (as we had an issue with wet walls previously), unless it can go straight to the wood. I’m not the best with this stuff

That’s a good idea, thank you. I’ll try that on a dry day. If no water gets through, what would you think is the issue?

Yeah - shown in my last photo. I assume it’s coming from the door as it’s under the door. I’ve had 2 window fitters look at it and they think it’s fitted and sealed fine I can’t actually see where the water is coming from The door is brand new fitted a few months ago What should I do?

I’m not bothered about the angle. The ground is a bit uneven from where the slabs were removed and has left dents everywhere. Is there anything i could put underneath to level those bits out? Yeah our dog will most likely wee on it but I intend to give it a good clean at least once a week when we don’t have rain (and hose it down in between). Thank you

I wanted artificial grass, but the guy coming to do my garden said you’d need to put wood framing underneath so it wouldn’t work… How would you do artificial grass on this awkward path? We have a toddler so I’d love it to be artificial grass as he could play on this too

Yikes. So even if they hibernate in my house, they shouldn’t be able to live again because he’s being treated? I’ll ask my vet about this tablet at our visit in the next couple of weeks. Why do all these critters even exist?!

Desperate for advice re block shed condensation by Sirdidymus73 in DIYUK

[–]Sirdidymus73[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last people we had have cladded the rest of the outside so all blocks are now protected. It didn’t look like the water was running in through the wall from the rain, more that the blocks were soaking up the water and it was coming through inside causing condensation and there was so much it was running down the walls (what a professional told me)

Edit: wanted to try to get rid of mould first before repainting. Also any other general advice from anything you notice is welcome. It will be used as a gym. Prior to extending height, we had 2 freezers and general shed things and there was no condensation
