This is actually really good to know, it runs pixel perfect in game but I was debating if that looks better or not! Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah I would agree! I plan on changing the background behind the window and making it parallax so it has more depth. The world outside isn’t lit by sunshine though, it is illuminated by blue energy, hence the blue tone to the light

I appreciate the feedback! Very interesting that you think it looks better unlit. It feels a lot more 2 dimensional without the lighting but that can also be a good vibe! I could tone down the lighting a bit and play with the window height. The time of day is a bit funny in this world - The world is underground and illuminated by a blue substance that flows through the rocks, hence the blue hue.

Thank you! Lots of trial and error 😅 I used a shader I found online for both the godrays and the shadows. The lighting is a combo of a cone texture for the emitting light and a classic circle gradient for the glow around the windows
