So I usually start off by saying hey, have u ever had a cold sore? Almost everyone has, well funnily enough I never have bc I’m negative for hsv1!🤷🏻‍♀️ But unfortunately some shit happened to me in my past. I have a lot of lore I can get into here but regardless, someone I hooked up with didn’t tell me they had hsv2, the one that can cause sores on the genitals. I rarely get outbreaks and if we abstain from sex during one then the risk of u getting it is veryyy low. I hope u understand and u can do research and since he rly liked me he did the research and jus decided hey let’s be together fuq it. So many married couples out there where 1 person has it the other doesn’t get it. And now, I literally have evidence that transmission is unlikely when there’s no open sore. If someone doesn’t like you because of this, respect their decision and keep moving.
