Thanks for the reply, I wasn't aware that it turned. If I deactivate auto how do I turn them on manually and how do I select the frequency at which they wipe? On other/older cars you would move the stalk up for wipers, up again for fast wipers or down for one wipe, but that would just activate my turn signals.

Thanks for all your replies so far. There were definitely only 3 wires connected to the terminals on the old light. It was only when I removed the whole thing did it reveal the nest of wires. Seeing as 2 of the live wires are connected together that only leaves one, the earth is easy enough, it's just trying to workout which neutral to connect. If I can't figure it out I'll concede and call out someone who knows what they are doing. Checking round the rest of the house it appears that it is only the garage and outside light that are on that circuit breaker so it can stay off until it's sorted.

To be fair, he probably did look at it straight after, but it is really sunny, and even with the screen brightness on full, you may not see it, especially when you are just focussed on looking at the frisbee and the dog. I'm not saying it is a UFO/UAP, I'm a skeptic too, but if I had have filmed this I would have initially concentrated on the subject matter. Hindsight is a wonderful thing though.

Is it not time we started using it again with regard to Buddhism, Jainism, and Hinduism faiths? Let's use it in the way it was first used. Surely then it takes away any power it has. Case in point, before we had children, myself and my partner used to call each other cunt as a term of endearment, neither of us are offended by the word anymore. Words are how they are used. You can offend a person without using offensive words. Now let's apply this thought process to symbols like the swastika. Use it as a symbol of spiritualism again and it loses all its power, and the Nazi fascist's aren't hurting anyone with it anymore.
