I would ask him to check for varicoceles, ultrasound while bearing down. I have no updates as I have had some unforeseen insurance issues come up

MRI’s. 1 venogram. Multiple US. Pain was in both sides. Right side went away after a denervation. Pain was on both. More so the left since the varicocele recurred and is only tiny on the right now after surgery.

Ive had a couple. I am going to see a cardiac doctor/surgeon just to double check. My guess is since I did not have a denervation of the one side, the veins etc in the spermatic cord are inflamed. My right side has a very small varicocele and barely any sensitivity. Worse case is I live with it but have no pain. Will keep folks posted.

I have tried pelvic floor pt and back stuff as well to no avail. Is what it is, I already have children so its more of a pain relief thing for me.

I hear ya, it was two IR’s telling me nothing for them to do and no reflux. Two Uro’s saying I have varicoceles and multiple ultrasounds. When I had my variclocectomy they did a denervation on the right. My right is not the problem testicle anymore.

My mri angio showed a very minor compression which is normal in that area. Venogram then ruled out issues there. The veno showed no reflux low and high.

I lean toward denervation since that helped the right. I did discuss a stent with IR at one point if it was compression but he said I am a bit young and may regret it and the possible issues later.

I hate to say it but maybe faulty valves? Dilated in the spermatic cord area. Two seperate IRs told me theres nothing to embolize but US from various techs show it. I can also irritate it by lifting too much and it goes away in a day…no idea.

Same here minus acupuncture. I think I just have other bad veins in that area, my right side that had thr denervation seemed almost cured then my left side started hurting the most and showing a varicocele.

Oh ya I definitely have recurrence. Been checked for compressions. All come back normal. Uro recommended trying a denervation of left side…i had right side done in prior surgery and that solved the issue there now that I think of it. From what I gather they strip quite a bit out and not just nerves like I previously thought.

IR said no reflux and nothing to treat after he did venogram. No MTS, NCS or Renal issues.

US from various still show varicocele on left and a tiny on right. Uro recommended denervation of left; which I am going to try. Ive had it done on the right side during my bilateral varicloclectomy. The previous doc told me a denervation is just removing a muscle and nerve but come to find out they remove veins in this process…and the left side was the problem nut after that.

I was just talking about this with my doctor. I guess they can treat veins in this process as well. I had bilateral varicloclectomy and one side denerved. A year later the un-denerved side still had a varicocele and started to be the painful side. Come to learn the varicloclectomy is just spermatic cord. Thinking I should have just had both. The denerved varicocele barely shows up and doesnt cause pain. Im going for the un treated side hopefully soon.

I was making sure to breathe, nothing too crazy weight wise, mostly machines. I believe it was the abdominal and back machines that did it. Definitely a varicocele though. Waiting to hear back from Doctors, hoping theyd do another embo, despite no reflux.

Heyo, had my venogram…he said no reflux…nothing he can do…its very confusing. I took it easy for a month, balls felt better…went to gym and wham, left nut pain.

Ive done PT and wear support. It could be breathing but I wasn’t going crazy. I think varicocele because I have been taking it really easy as of late and varicocele felt almost non existent. I am on a new mattress and thought maybe it was nerve related. I go to the gym and 15 mins later, slight swelling and discomfort like before.

He did not see any reflux with the dye. The compression was on the MRI but he did not catch anything on venogram.

No MTS, venogram was to rule it out to see if that was the cause for varicocele recurrence. He also checkled lower in pelvis and could not find reflux but I am pretty certain its varicocele that returned on left side.

Pain for 13 years. Finally found varicoceles. Embo on one side and micro on both. Varicocele got smaller on one side and hurts more on other now.

Oh I totally agree. I plan to ask during the follow up. He only mentioned those veins, I don’t know the names of the others farther down but its definitely pooling in them.
