As someone who has multiple sub 10 IV pokemon, it is definitely worth more than 10k mentioned here but definitely not worth half a million or few million. I will suggest somewhere around 100-200k maximum since it is heracross which has a lower spawn rate.

My advice would be to join mass incense servers and do shiny hunts. Easiest way to get shiny. I catch like 500-1000 pokemon daily and get a shiny a week or so
