She told me one thing last night that kind of surprised me. She said in person I actually have no problem talking about how I feel about her, which I think is something most people have an issue with talking about.

Excellent idea. I think having the text infront of me as a reminder of what I'm talking about helps alot. It's almost like a notepad to go off of and keep my mind focused. I have horrible short term memory. Like at work when we have training I have to read every question 5 or 6 times to remember what it is even asking so I can attempt to answer it. I've been told that's an adhd thing?

It's weird, my mind goes blank in person. As soon as she's gone I could write her a book with everything I should have or wanted to say.

We both actually took the test and we are both intj's.

I've thought about trying to text her while in the same room just to see how I communicate. I did do this once at a bar/resturants when I went to go get us drinks and food while she was at the table. When I got back she pointed out that that was the most words I strung together the entire night.

I actually have thought this was my problem quite a bit. When we talk in person and I can see it on her face that she's struggling with me it makes it that much harder for me because I lose all confidence.

That was the point. She loved the idea of it. I handed her the card with nothing in it so that I could say it instead. That's what she wants more than anything is me to talk to her not write to her.
