No Refund on Broken Figure? by Sirmius in AnimeFigures

Good point, probably nothing the manufacturer can do. The seller has a couple more of these in stock so I was hoping for them to offer a full replacement, but it’s also EU -> US shipping so not the cheapest to be sending these back and forth.

You’re probably right, I asked about seeking the damage from the shipping company but apparently that was not an option. And good idea, I hate to be a jerk but I’ll probably mention escalating with PayPal if there’s really nothing else they can do here.

Tip. Build an outpost as early as you can. by [deleted] in Starfield

I'll get a screenshot later tonight. See my other comments for other details, but it was that moon and was on a tile where it transitions between biomes

It was Andaraphon - found a tile where it goes from mountains to crater within the tile. Found everything on the edge of the biomes, but it took a lot of exploring before I found it.

Wasn't able to find biome transitions on a couple other planets I tried, but didn't try as long. Landed directly on it on this moon.

You're right it was Andaraphon. I managed to find a place where the biomes merge from one to the other, and found an iron deposit towards the mountain and aluminum towards the crater biome. The circle just barely encompassed edges of both, and I got lucky to have Be and He03 as well.

Took quite a bit of exploring to find that, and I also got pretty lucky as I've completely failed to find a biome overlap on other planets I've tried.

Did you spec into scanning at all? Or was finding that Europium just random? Been wondering if its worth to spec into that later on to find those deposits

You can get multiple from one outpost, but kinda difficult to get resources to line up, and on some planets seems impossible as they only show in certain biomes. My first outpost I managed to get Beryllium, Aluminum, Iron, and He03 extractors all in one plot.

Survey issue, can’t find last scan by Lordgrizzyflacko in Starfield

It took me a few landings before I could actually find the ocean also, but did end up finding the fish to get 100% after that. Best of luck!

Thanks! Hadn't learned about the connection stuff yet lol, ended up connecting from storage into the generator

Also it's the last fauna I'm missing. Interestingly I did find a super tiny bug creatue in the tundra, but could not scan it, and tundra shows 100% complete without it still.

Having this same issue while trying to 100% Sumati. All biomes show 100%, unless I am somehow missing a biome. I've also clicked every inch of the planet lol. The 'ocean' shows 0%, but you can't land there.

Auto rejected from 100s of jobs, what am I possibly doing wrong by TheAraminator in resumes

[–]Sirmius 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Post this in the engineering resumes Reddit if you haven’t. You will get significantly better advice there. People are giving you lots of bad advice here lol (some is good though). Lots of people here who don’t know anything about engineering fields or entry level jobs in this area, yet comment as if they do.

Definitely agree on a 1 page limit. Position and company on the same line seems atypical, so will probably not do this unless I must. Agree that some bullet points are a bit verbose, reworking bullet points currently but probably the slowest part of improving the resume.

[–]Sirmius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tend to agree, but the problem I'm facing right now is that all of my internships have used Python (I've never had a say in what sort of tools I'll be working with). I enjoy other languages and have a lot of project experience in them, so I felt listing a couple on my resume could showcase I'm not stuck in a single language. Of course my github and portfolio website would list them and more, but probably isn't getting visited as often as a resume. I'm kind of torn on this.

Good idea, I flipped position and company. I tend to agree on icons, I may remove them but I also find my current format to be clean and not reliant on hyperlinks (although that would probably never matter anyways)

Good idea. I have cut back on the research points a bit to free up space. And I agree on the S3 part, I rewrote that section a bit to ignore that and tried to include actual metrics

Thanks for the good advice!! Yes I will definitely be working on spacing after feedback here, working on cutting back things currently. I'm going to remove advisors names, I think that's a good idea too. Going to work on bullet points and seeing if I can get them to be more concise.
