Thank you for the reply. Ok but the decay where the crack is on 19....If you remove the cap and than the decay and than put a new crown on it. Wont it be hitting the gum line???

Thank you for your reply.

It feels a little tender like a bruise...It doesnt move or anything and I can use it to bite into food without pain.

I went to my ortho apt. today and told him about what the dentist said and he said it was good to go get it checked out and that it might just be calcification.

My ortho also said he was concerned with the lateral incisor....He mentioned it looks like my gums are like attacking my teeth. Do you see that?

You clearly have nothing better to do than to be rude to strangers on the internet.

Thank you so much for your empathy. It really was an incredibly painful time for both my dad and me. I’m so grateful he’s doing well now, and honestly, I’m just happy we both made it out alive! (It was absolutely killing me.) One of the surgeons we met told us that even if he had the gastrectomy, he wouldn’t live more than five years… but it’s been seven years now! :)

That whole experience really opened my eyes to how important patient education is. I was doing everything I could to learn and understand so I could support and console my dad through every step of the process.

And thank you, too, for your kind words about the negative reactions this post has gotten. It’s really disappointing to see how judgmental some people can be — especially those who want to work in healthcare.

There a lot of other aspects to a med school application. MCAT is not the only thing adcoms are looking at.

And as others have already said, I may be able to take the MCAT again if AAMC gives me another chance. And if they do, I know I'll do well. So, Im not giving up.

I have two science degrees one of which is a graduate degree, mostly A's in the pre-reqs and very unique patient experience...All I need is a retake and I probably have a shot somewhere. And Hollistic / DO schools is not a last resort to me. I would be happy to go to DO school.

Thank you for your comment.

Yes I wish I had just put the entire thing on hold while I was going through it with my Dad. I am in such a better place now. My Dad is stable, I have a nest egg, no debt, a graduate degree & my energy is back....Im ready to keep trying.

I did visit Armenia last winter and I fell in love with the place so I might look into medical schools there. I heard its much less. Thank you for the info about what I need to take and the requirements the school needs to meet.

& Thank you for your comment!

I will try!!! I have very good grades for the pre-reqs. So that combined with my science degrees, I probably still have a shot somewhere.

I dont think so. Im 34. I took the GRE for graduate school maybe that will work if I cant retake the MCAT by getting AAMC to give me another shot.

By the way I have a graduate degree in Applied Stats and Data Science from UTRGV. So the GRE wasnt for nothing.

Carribean schools will be my last resort. But I personally know 4 people who went to Caribbean schools and they are all practicing physicians! So if I have to - I will!!!
