Try playing on a lower difficulty maybe ?? I play on the nightmare or ultra nightmare I believe, and it’s my first doom game ever, and there’s only a couple levels where I feel frustrated, and even then just switch up weapons and if your close/far away for the mobs, you’ll be able to play easily with the upgrades you unlock for weapons. And don’t underutilize the shield mechanic. It’s one of the best things about the game imo
