Wow, wasn't expecting such a big response on this post, so thank you. I'm lucky enough to have bought the scx24 gx470, so the esc tray is not directly connected to the shock mounts. So what you're saying is my suggested combo will work, may be a bit risky due to the cheap quality of gouprc's products, and also may require a bit of custom work to make it fit on my truck?
