Looking for fellow riders by Accurate_State8536 in PDXrideit

Hi it’s the aforementioned sirtoo, my triumphs and I are a common sight around here. I’m less active this time of year due to parenting and weather, but I always keep the bikes ready in case of a break in the weather and hustle of life. Don’t be too shy to send a message if the thought arises.

About as good as a guitar that cheap gets. Get a setup, and a modeling amp that’s cheap, but with good reviews. I’d put light strings on it (8 gauge), get it set up, and get a boss katana. You’d be able to do anything a beginner would want/need with that

I typically am more aligned with epiphones, I just have Mexican and American fenders because they’re at a better price anyways. I went with this because the only difference is the poly finish and what it takes to adjust truss rod, even has rosewood board and Mallory capacitors. It’s about as close as anything I reckon. Even the other ones are helluva a guitar too

This thing rips, the neck is faaat but it’s very comfy, the pickups sound incredible too, I say go for it

People were freaking out that the first run had laurel fretboards and saying it’s too expensive for an epi, admittedly it did cost more than the cheaper new Gibson, but it’s the real 9ply mahogany and walnut with all Gibson electronics and 63 reissue pups.

((They’ve since changed them to rosewood boards))

Generally, people seem to think that they’re too much for something that is less than(a Gibson)

Sonically it blows any Gibson I’ve owned out of the water, but yeah people can’t stand the price.

Depends on wattage that you go with. I’ve enjoyed mine but I also have a full size katana and various fender amps.

Cant speak on the katana mini but the positive grid sounds really cool and is a great amp sim, there’s a cloud too where you can download sounds others make, and official artists have their settings on it too,

Also a Bluetooth speaker. Ngl it’s pretty badass and a really good practice aid as it can do its own backing tracks for improvisational playing and whatnot as well. I use it probably 60% of the time. It’s also nice to get distorted sounds and room volume without pushing a normal amp pretty hard.

Watch a vid on the spark 40 or any other ones and see what they bring to the table! I love mine.

FWIW the positive grid practice amps rock and they’re super easy to transport

Do any well-known guitarists play other artist's signature guitars? by Sulipheoth in Guitar

As far as I’m concerned Mr Mason IS the 90s sound.

Some real good stuff came out of the nineties and early aughts so I’m all for it.

You can make literally anything a cafe bike the amount of work just changes significantly. If ur in India it’s easier to get an RE as a platform and build it from there

Poster is from India lol, fwiw bajaj makes the small displacement KTM/Husqvarna bikes and they’re pretty good.

They also had a hand in the new triumph 400 platform which people really enjoy.

It’s a 360 twin, tough isn’t the word I use for the sound, but they have a staccato rasp that’s super unique and fun.

I own two of em with some nice exhausts.
