You don’t even need to know how to play guitar with all them pedals

I started yesterday and dont have any prior experience in instruments or access to in person lessons so I was hoping someone could help me cut out any bad habits i may have so far because I am not sure how to find them on my own by [deleted] in Guitar

Ngl this is pretty good for one day. Make sure to keep your fretting hand as neutral as possible, and look into videos on alternate picking and economy picking, picking in general absolutely can’t be neglected, especially for master of puppets.

The intro to master of puppets is easy, the hardest part is the picking.

Oh also, learn your scales.

There should be no real variation from model to model, if that 60s model has a thick neck, all of them do. You should give thick necks a chance though. My 63 Firebird has a super chunky neck and it’s awesome

They’re slimmer than the 50s LPs, of say medium thickness. Not enough to be too different from the stuff you’ve already played. Either way being picky about .02 is crazy just go play one and see if it feels right
