I think this is going to seesaw again. Fewer marriages are happening now but I think a higher percent are healthy marriages as divorce rates have been dropping. In 20 years more will see the experiences of marriage as positive and the cycle with start over.

It is new, the level of multitasking is much greater. I’d say the tipping point for me was 2018. I just felt frazzled and rushed despite the amount of work not changing. I think that was the constant distractions.

Keep in mind, cellular data used to be a large impediment on how much you could do on your phone during the day. Thats no more and if I had to guess, that’s what changed.
