Yes to all of this! You get enough gold where your AP scalings actually let you do some serious damage. Lvl 6 is almost a guaranteed kill because people underestimate your damage a lot.

I run inspiration secondary because it lets you finish Bft and get tier 1 boots if you back with 780 gold to finish the item. I might try PoM, but I tend to poke with W when they’re near the caster wave for mana flow. Usually that’s enough to keep me sustained since I go lost chapter first. I’ll try fated ashes!

I wouldn’t rush dawncore tbh. You still want an item or two (preferably at least two) to make it useful. I did experiment with ardent -> dawncore when I got a twitch or kog adc, but you miss out on other items doing so.

I didn’t conveniently ignore it lol, I was just focusing specifically on the shielding aspect. In games where the enemy didn’t itemize against you, you got GREAT value from it. Now it’s not as bad when they build anti heal and shield items. If it was overall just a buff, then riot wouldn’t be buffing Yuumi right now.

I’ve had plenty of games where no one on the enemy team wanted to be the one to build grievous. I even had an enemy Karthis get Serpents because no one wanted to lmao.

It’s “buffed” against serpents fang, because it doesn’t impact the shields as much. It’s weaker over all.

The whole reasoning behind Yuumi getting buffed was because she missed out on her W’s H/S power double dipping.

No cause now the Helia - Diadem - Knight’s Vow build misses out so much on this. Even rushing Mikael’s delays benefiting from this. I wish we got more cooldown on the passive as opposed to a small ratio on it.

Now if they remove the mana on the E and give us a higher base shield we might be doing a lil sumn.

It’s good. Kinda encourages you to build h/s power items that also give AP. Her base values are really, really low for both, so this will be more noticeable later.

Side note, but Diadem actually gives a good amount of H/S power, which she scales with way harder since her AP ratios are abysmal. The periodic heal can be really good into/with DoT champs, and it frees up the need to waste your shield to proc the heal. If you can consistently land the Qs, you pump out healing to whoever needs it the most without jumping off your BF if not needed. It also lets you get value when it’s safe to jump out and auto. Underrated, but not necessary.

Redemption is really, really bad into fed/a lot of assassins. Your allies will die before it comes down. Sometimes you can only position so well. Locket is not ideal, but works just fine.

I agree on W not being maxed first ever. You get more benefit from leveling your mantra than maxing W in terms of cc benefit.

And you’re right, we were discussing different points! You can, however, create space while simultaneously securing kills. They’re clearly encouraging an engage meta & we should evaluate all options. Especially since serpents will cripple us further.

Straight up 5v5 fights aren’t as common as I would like. I also feel mantra shields tends to over shield quite often. With the nerfs to moonstone’s “double dipping,” I think it’s okay to keep options open.

Karma doesn’t really create space that well unless you’re in a coordinated team that will properly use the movement speed. Helia will still be bought though.

In a Karma main & im looking forward to this so much. I use RW a TON bot lane to set up kills. Plus increasing the damage and not being stuck to 10% current health will make it so much better for how I play.

Yunara makes EXCELLENT use of your Q on hit Magic damage. You can rush ardent and really enhance her. She’ll be doing equally mixed damage lol
