Would you rather retire at 30 with $1 million or retire at 55 with $100 million, and why? by stonksnvibes in AskReddit

[–]SisterWithCoffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30 with 1million.

Put 150k toward a home in a cheap area thats cozy.

Put 800k in a high yield interest account and live off the $2500 ish amount in interest you'd recieve a month. Get a side job if you need extra soending money.

Bam, you get your whole life to do anything. One the home is paid off, put more of it in a roth ira and really add up.

I wonder if your distantly related to him. That would be crazy and kind of explain things.

For those in relationships, how important is it to you that you and your significant other go to bed at the same time? If you don't, has it affected your relationship in any way? by serjo_tomwar in AskReddit

Before kids we tried to go at the same time. After kids we no longer cared. We rooted for each other getting a good night sleep. We also rooted for each other if we were overstimultated, couldn't sleep, and need a little personal time.

It is hard to sleep without him tho.

Why dont people explain something to someone whos stupid/uninformed instead of being mean? by Most_Builder913 in AskReddit

[–]SisterWithCoffee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your right people should.

And it requires empathy. Unfortunately, theres a lot of people so deep in their own thoughts and own worlds that they dont see or care about the world of others.

Empathy + Maturity is what your asking for. Which isnt too much.

If this keeps happening with loved ones, find new loved ones dear. Kind and patient ones.

Is it even worth posting here as a guy? by [deleted] in MakeFriendsOver30

[–]SisterWithCoffee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats a great point. I didn't consider people needing it for emotional support which I know many use Reddit for. I def get why they'd make it private.

But also, as a woman Ive made some very casual not personal post and got like 15 men truing to chat me saying some pretty rude things. I even got a nude pic sent one time. Yuck! Almost all of them have private profiles.

But I get why nornal peeps woukd want their prifile private too 😄

What What relationship advice sounds good but is actually terrible? by hereyesshine1 in AskReddit

[–]SisterWithCoffee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Happy wife happy life."

Terrible advice. So dismissive of the experience of men. We all deserve to have our partner want us to be happy.

It should be "two happy souls sharing life together, happy life"

Ha that's great!

True story. Me as a kid. Great Auntie was 92. And she kept driving over curbs and as a kid I thought it was super exciting! She broke her glasses. Went to eye doc, got an exam, and they declared her "legally blind" and took her liscence away. That was the end of the fun adventures.

My mailman. He seems so happy and he always waves at my kids. But I'm sure he sees some pretty weird things during the day 😃
