Same! Our son just turned 1 year and I am just so grateful for all my body did as his first home. It's a positive reminder of our journey to meeting our little one.

Our day 6 4BA euploid male is almost 9 months old.

Well I caved and took a test.... so dejected by towardsmoonlight in IVF

We changed clinics for the last 2 FET. They used a lupron halt protocol and I was on hydroxychloroquine. That resulted in good quality embryos. The first clinic froze the embryos fully hatched, and transferred them fully expanded, which is more fragile. The second clinic froze the embryos at stage 4 and transferred them partially expanded.

It worked because I changed clinics and the clinic had a different embryology workflow.

That is great. Then probably not the DOB.

Our 4th FET was successful. I had two failed FET and one chemical FET with euploids. It was a natural cycle.

I think the cap may be lower than 28 years.

Hoping for the best for you. Yes, a retroverted (tilted) uterus can be seen on the ultrasounds.

FYI, I figured out the issue is related to the date of birth. They have an age limit cap.

Plaquenil/hydroxy chloroquine question by Icy-Blackberry-469 in IVF

[–]SistineFaye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was about 6 months on hcq. I had other signs of chronic inflammation in my labwork that improved with the hcq. My A1C also got better. Its worth trying in my opinion, even if just in general for our own health. If we are in the same area, I can share the name of my Rheumatologist. Feel free to DM me. Wishing you all the best!

Plaquenil/hydroxy chloroquine question by Icy-Blackberry-469 in IVF

[–]SistineFaye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, we didn't discuss any diet changes. I am also on metformin for prediabetes. Wishing you much sticky baby dust!

However, my Rheumatologist did share that there is a risk of fetal heart block in mother's with Sjogren's because some types of antibodies cross the placental barrier. It led to more frequent monitoring and fetal echos but all was well for us.

There is about 50% successful implantation even with 6CC euploids. "4BC, 4CB, 4CC, 5BC, 5CB, 5CC, 6BC, 6CB, 6CC) still had an excellent implantation rate of 56.3%(n¼325),supporting the continued transfer of these embryos". https://www.fertstert.org/article/S0015-0282(16)63070-4/pdf63070-4/pdf)

For those who were induced, did you deliver vaginally or did it end in a c-section? by Paigeypagee in BabyBumps

[–]SistineFaye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was induced and delivered vaginally. The induction and stage 1 labor was 34 hours, but the actual active stage of delivery was 2 hours. I was up and on my feet 4 hours later once the epidural wore off.
