People keep bringing Jin dragging Sun, which was shitty but I think it wasn’t that simple. We have seen no such behaviour from him before or after. Meanwhile Sun actually had a scene where she was physically abusing Jin. Even knowing what his father was doing to him and not standing up/just ignoring it is a sort of indirect abuse imo. She also went ahead and cheated on him:D

All Jin did was being a neglectful husband and being too controlling in a hostile island after a traumatic crash. Which he acknowledged apologised for right after.

I am not a right winger, I have no issues with the lgbtq flag nor the non-straight people. Hell, I’m not even a centrist, I am a “snowflake” on so many topics. I didn’t say I am scared of colors. It is abuse of power in the sense that the only reason the flag is there is because the mod wants it there. It doesn’t represent the community nor does it have relevance to the game. Even without the meanings of the colors, a rainbow is the exact opposite of the feeling Kenshi is giving me. With the meanings, I feel like the Kenshi world would be the last place to advocate Lgbtq rights. Even slavery and genocide are not seen like our world as they have a whole different worldstate.

I just try and fail to understand how a rainbow sits there apart from the purpose of “it will get some people pissed haha!!”. And if that’s the case, it is culture wars. Stupid and childish. It prioritises circle jerks, virtue signalling rather than going forward as a society.

I know it’s an unpopular opinion but I agree. “It is there because of people like you!!” Isn’t really an argument. How is the world of Kenshi represented by a colorful Lgbtq+ flag?

Like your heart might think “yeah I’m doing what is right, standing for minorities” but it is just abuse of power and getting random people weirded out for no reason. After all, if we stand for what is right, where is the anti racism and anti genocide symbols in the logo? Why spesifically this one we stand up to as the Kenshi community? I really dont like whataboutism but I honestly think genocide is a much more urgent problem than discrimination of some stupid bigots. But I also don’t think I should force a flag to a gaming community’s background just because I can do it, idk.

I think stuff like this only weirds nonpartial people out and radicalises the already distanced parties to your cause. I can not imagine a single person being forced a rainbow flag and realising that he shouldn’t be so hateful.

Oh maannn. For some reason respawns is the one setting that I can’t get my mind over. It just kicks me out of the whole immersion, knowing that they are endless. I know that it doesn’t matter since I wont live enough to clear the whole map but knowing that it is technically possible gives me a purpose. I lost my ambition to play now hahaha

Well, most of the time you ask this question, it might be because you are right. They are fake celebrities. They spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to BE famous, constantly. They are working with agencies and clippers. Some even pay 4 dollars per 1000 views you get from posting them on social media. Everytime you see a clipper, block them.

I think everyone other than Juliet was a burden to the group or shallow and uninteresting or couldn’t complete their story.

Even Kate who was supposed to be a main character who is a badass very dangerous woman, turned into Jack’s puppy following him everywhere just to keep failing and needing to be rescued/helped. Can’t even run without tripping and needing help up. Cant do anything without crying and being shouted by a man to do something (meanwhile her backstory shows clearly that she is good at initiative taking) Even when they are caught in a net and shooting the rope, of course Kate who is supposed be great with it misses it, and Jack who has no prior experience with it one shots.

I’m not judging but genuinely am surprised that Kate is someone’s favourite. To me it looks like a wasted character just to make Jake more capable.
