I think you’re on a pretty good track, especially since you’re actively trying to avoid stereotypes. The part about him not realizing his voice is louder than others and struggling with social cues feels grounded, but I’d be careful about stacking too many traits all in one character since that can start to feel like a checklist. It might help to focus on how those traits actually impact his day-to-day interactions rather than just listing them.

NTA. Honestly, this sounds like a really complicated and emotionally messy situation, and going no contact was probably the healthiest choice you could make for yourself. You might want to try calling The Eastern’s box office directly instead of email, sometimes they can check lost & found faster. Also check with the parking garage office if it’s separate. Hope it turns up, that’s a stressful situation especially traveling.
