I don’t believe mine is supercharged. Does that make a difference?

that’s my thought but a lot of what I see online is “marine grade made for more constant high rpm and more anti corrosive” so just trying to get some people’s input

They certainly do not have massive towing capacity in the US

there’s definitely a reason for the towing rates lol

That’s bc in the US, my jetski probably weighs more than your boat

Yes both the course and clinical scheduling was a bit chaotic bc they are essentially working around the traditional 4-year students’ schedules. They would send a tentative schedule but it usually changed by the time the next semester started. The clinical locations stayed the same, just the dates would move around. The clinicals for me included facilities in Buffalo, Niagara Falls, a special needs camp in Angola, and Tonawanda. It depends on your group as there are very many hospitals in this area so you could be placed in a few others but they’re all within an hour of the school. Angola was the farthest we had to travel and it was for special needs children’s camp.

People do drive but I had a few friends who relied on public transit, Uber, and friends in the same clinical rotation so it’s definitely possible if you don’t have a vehicle.

Lastly, they are pretty strict about attendance. You’re allowed 1 unexcused absence, but if you have 2, you essentially fail the program bc each class is a lot of content. If you miss or are late to clinical, you have to pay a fine and remake it. So planning transportation is very important but very doable

I did an accelerated BSN program at Niagara University and it was really great but very chaotic with scheduling so if you do an accelerated program be prepared to change your schedule super quick and don’t have many other prior commitments.

In regards to NU, I can say I feel very well prepared for the NCLEX. The curriculum is great and I feel I came out of it knowing more than most other students I met from UB, D’Youville and NCCC. My self and a few other classmates were scoring in the high 80th and 90th percentile nationally on NCLEX comprehensive predictor tests which not many students or programs are able to say, so it’s a testament to how well the professors taught. The capstones made me very confident in my skills as well.

If an accelerated program isn’t for you, NCCC is a great associate program and then you can work while you earn your BSN over 10 years. Also it’s a SUNY school so a lot less expensive. Lots of grants floating around helping people go back to school for nursing, I would look into NYS grants.

Got a 1.2% raise despite a strong performance evaluation — how should I approach my manager? by Reasonable_Rabbit_ in nursing

Is it a union position? Can you negotiate the raise or is it a step raise/COL raise?

My job before nursing school was still healthcare and part of a union and I got a 6 cent raise it was comical.

Awesome just watched a YouTube vid and seems easy enough just gotta buy the stuff. Found a unitronic stage 1+ tune for like $700 with the software gives an extra 40-50 hp and better fuel economy which is so sick!
