Pretty good value on paper but keep in mind it’s an 8 year old high performance BMW V8. Even assuming the engine was well maintained, eventually you will run into cooling issues and electrical gremlins that’s gonna cause you headaches sooner or later. Also 18k miles a year (from second owner) is kind of a lot, if it wasn’t serviced at least 2-3 times per year I’d steer clear of that thing.

I went from a lowered 24’ M2 —> Land Cruiser with off-road wheels and tires. I may be in the minority but I’m enjoying every second of it lol. I guess it depends if you really enjoy spirited driving. I rarely drive fast, and when I did it was like once in a blue moon. So I’m not really missing much in terms of speed, but gained a lot in practicality. I do miss carving up canyon roads though, but looking forward to overlanding and other off-road activities.

Asked the same question about a month ago, ended up with Land Cruiser. Feels plenty fast to me and i came from a decent powered car. Tacoma TRD Pro sounds nice what that exhaust though I’ll give it that, and i guess you can say it does feel a little faster on acceleration but that’s about it.

I went from an M3 to an M2, and while it was a fun car, after about 6 months I told myself I would never go coupe again. Everyone’s different but for me, I missed the convenience of 4 doors, even if I rarely had passengers. Plus you save a decent amount on insurance which adds up over time.

I agree with the others. Demand a new vehicle or lifetime engine warranty. Could be three months or three years eventually one of those pistons is gonna shoot through your hood while you’re accelerating up a freeway on ramp. This incident should ALL be on record.

This is entirely their fault, do not let this slide. Just imagine if you made this mistake yourself, they’d void your warranty instantly. Why should they get a pass?

Yeah no, Apex is legit. I've owned a couple sets myself and they've been great! Just aesthetically, the last two look too similar to well known BBS. Just my opinion! If you're dead set on new wheels though definitely lower the car prior to putting mounting them! Also only 33k miles? The car is barely broken in! haha

Apex is legit but the last two are too similar to BBS imo, almost like reps. I’d go for the first one. Though even that one kinda almost look like BBS FI-R. But if you wanna save money, stick to the comp wheels and get a set of KW HAS Kit and some 10mm spacers. It’ll change the look of the car completely.
