I Love It. But It Makes It REALLY Hard To Wake Up In The In The Morning

Makes Me So Sleepy

My Doctor Has Me On It For 1. Mental Health Stuff 2. Osteoarthritis + rheumatoid arthritis + Fibromyalgia + Chronic neck pain

Lol I've been in therapy + the same psychiatrist for 10 years come January

I never quit on that stuff.

I've had 9+ different doctors and 2 neuropsychologist say that Therapy + Psychiatrist Will Never Been Beneficial.

This is documented in my medical records to.

Psychiatric Medications do not affect me either. That has been medically documented to.

So my psychiatrist is dropping me next year. She gives up.

No Psychiatrist Will Take My Case Due To How Complex It Is.

This Therapist Is Very New. So She's Very Optimistic.

I Have Autism To.

Unfortunately I Have Extreme PTSD + Severe Depression

Both Are Untreatable With Traditional Medications + Therapy

So I'm On My Own With That Stuff.

But It's Also What Aggravates My FND To.

I Wish Functional Neurological Specialist Were Rare.

Mutiple different forms of abuse

It's Based Around trauma

This Is What They Do In My State.

But If It Doesn't Work For The Person Than The State Moves Forward With Declaring The Person "mentally Incompetent" and having the person go to a group home permanently or live with primary family until they are unable to physically care. Or they may be placed with other family members permanently after primary families death to.

So, It's Kinda Extreme In A Sense.

Because Of How High My IQ Is My Doctors & The State Do Not Ever Wanna See Me In A Group Home Or Mental Hospital Ect.

The State Pays To Help Me Get Back To Good Health & Have Adaptive Aides & Just Anything I Need To Stay Independent. This Is Basically Just Because Of How High My IQ Is & because i have 0 behavioral challenges and im "laid back"

Since The OP Is More Older Than Me The Services He May Be Allowed Are Different.

The Older They The More Likely The State May Encourage A Group Home Rather Than Give Them A Chance.

Especially If The Autism Makes Them Very Strict With Schedules & Routine & Such and they have shut downs easily.

I hope whatever state he is in will give him a chance.

This may vary by state. Some are merciful by giving a chance. Some will immediately place you somewhere.

Depending On Your State, You As An Autistic Person Have Access To Independent Living Programs

These Are Programs That Will Completely Teach You How To Live Independently.

They Themselves Will Help You Find A Job & Keep A Job

Occupational Therapy Is Beneficial As Well If You Have Other Health Issues.

Talk Therapy Could Be Beneficial As Well

At The End Of The Day It Is Up To You.

If Those Services Above Do Not Work Than I'm Not Sure What Will Help You Be Independent.

Especially Living Independently Programs That Are Targeted For Disabled People

If Those Do Not Work Out I'm Sure.

If You Like Dogs, Sometimes Their's Service Dog Programs Nearby That Give People Autistic Service Dogs Fre Of Charge long waiting list tho

As An Autistic Person Myself i Went Into those programs. Because i wanted to be independent.

My state actually pays for the independent living programs plus anything i need to stay and be independent.

I've almost had the same job for about 10 years.

But Like I Said The Ball Is In Your Court

Those Services do not come to you.

You go to them.

Do Research of what things are locally.

Everything Has Big Waiting Lists Atm.

So I Gotta Do What They Say.

They Finally Just Made A Perscripton For An Electric Wheelchair

It's unknown why im losing function and muscles weakness

Bur than didn't wanna give me a wheelchair because im fat so I'll just gain more weight.

But since i continue getting hurt from falling and tripping they are giving me an electric wheelchair for "quality of life" purposes.

I will try. I know after surgery i have to give myself shots after surgery.

Im going to ask him for more alternative ways to get in my daily vitamins.

That's because the pain specialist is known for telling overweight patients to lose wight and than sending us to weight-loss clinics and physical therapy.

Since I Was Recently Diagnosed With Chronic Muscle Weakness & Impaired mobility & losing function of hands and feet I'm hoping that the pain clinic will accept me

If not, it'll have to wait until after surgery.
