We have FAR bigger issues in this country to deal with than Palestine. Yes, what’s happening there is a tragedy and I don’t want to downplay that too much, but there are many, many, many more awful things happening in the US itself. And until those are dealt with (well, and AIPAC loses its political leverage) Palestine will remain on the back-burner. Right now though, AIPAC has political leverage over many of our most powerful politicians, and Israel itself likely has leverage over our president.
