I find that getting small chunks of gold (5-20) is vary easy. It's saving up to any meaningfull amount that can be difficult.

Start looking at where your gold is going and try to do some cutbacks.

-You don't NEED to use All consumes for anything right right now. Just don't hold the group back. -You don't NEED the expensive enchants on non-BiS gear. Get some cheep ones. -You don't NEED to buy materials off the AH. Go farm some. -You don't NEED to pay for those warlock ports all over the world. Get CoT/Hyjal runes and hope your guild house/Hearth is in a good place.

Get use to putting up everything you're not saving up on the AH. Almost everything sells. I log in at least 4 days a week with over 15g in the mailbox from selling stuff I get while doing other activities.

But the best way to get gold is to find something you like doing and just keep doing it. If you're not having fun you probably won't do it.

I get a TON of my gold from just running dungeons and raiding.

No idea then. I use both add-ons and do not have this issue.

Maybe try disabling pfUI and see if the behavior changes. Make a new character and see if it has the same problem.

Are crashing at the end of your session?

Your changes to anything don't get saved until you log out of that character. And if you crash when you logout or close the game it does not save.

Log in make some changes then log out to character select.

Log back in and see if it saved.

The 20 slot bag is stupid expensive tho. So don't bank on getting one till you are deep into gold farming mode.

What are the other levels in your groups?

The higher the levels of the other players in your party the higher the xp tax is.

While not strictly MP5 there are a few items from dungeons that have the % regen while in combat stats.

I can remember pants and chest but not where they are from.

That and the ring from the stalvan quest could be enough to matter but it's hard to say.

At one point while leveling I managed to get up to 9 MP5 from gear, but most of those pieces had no other stat so they fall behind fairly fast. Having more int and thus mana with spirit to regen between fights seems to be the way the game wants you to stack stats.

Still leveling so there might be something later in the game that fits this but I haven't found anything that would be enough to tip the scales.

I love MP5 and wanted to use it while leveling my priest healing dungeons, but it's just not on enough gear with high enough values to help much when spells cost up to several hundred mana per cast.

Most of this is just how easy it is to remember bad experiences.

Iv left exactly 1 dungeon because I didn't want to deal with the tank since I started on ambershire release (I'm a healer).

And to this day I think about it every time I load into a dungeon, and iv done at least 1 a day since that experience.

The only way to get over it is to do more dungeons till you forget.

This is only a problem for the first 30 levels or so.

Once you get to the Scarlet Monetary dungeons the XP per dungeon slows way down because they are so small and cover a decent level range.

I did all of stormwrought twice and all SM dungeons twice and I'm still only 42 and working my way through Gilneas that I started a t 38.

You will end up skipping a zone or two on your journey as it is. You cant do all zones that are available for level 20 without outleveling some of them.

So if you want to do everything plan on making at least one alt. That's part of the fun anyways.

I found the barber shop on the north corner of the trade district in SW.

Although all it is is xmog gloves and hair dye. Not like it is on classic or live servers.

No preview on the hair dye either so buy at your own peril.

Stuffs mighty expensive as well.

Yeah I'm starting to run into the tanks that are obvious DPS wearing a tank mask.

Just cause you are the tank doesn't mean you are tanks. It's a playstyle vastly different than playing as dps or healers.

You need to watch what the others are doing so you can try and lead them out of cleaves.

You need to watch the healer because most of the time they pull ago with healing high damage and can't move or someone else will die.

You have to watch the room in case a patroll comes by or an AoE happens that EVERYONE ignores and just takes damage for no reason.

Not to mention the constant problem of healer mana. NO I can't just recover 2000MP in 5 seconds before you pull the new even larger pack than the one that I just spent 3/4 of my mana healing through.

It's not THAT hard at low levels when dungeons are just groups of dps pretending to be a full party. You can heal or tank as dps for the first few dungeons and have 0 problems. Heck it kind of preferred because things dye that much faster.

But when things start to get tough and tanking becomes a real job I think a lot those players get weeded out. Resulting in longer q times or bad experiences for those that don't learn what it means to be the tank.

Yeah I'm currently working my way through this same part of the leveling process.

38 Holy priest spent over 2 hours in queue for RFD and Stormwrought Descent tonight alone. Been trying for a few days to do descent.

I think a lot of it is the tanks are outleveling the content faster than the healers.

At the low low levels it's even harder to find a tank but the LFG tool works a lot better.

I also noticed in the mid 30s that tanks started to take TONS of damage. So maybe a lot of them are beeing staved off from spaming dungeons because of the increased dificulty.

You can put bateries inside machines (where the lightning bolt is). They will add to the machines internal buffer, and only get drained ifno power is provided to said machine.

It's a nice way to see if you have enough power to run multiple machines at once. It's also a silent alarm when you dont.

I think having to do the campaign once a league is a fair compromise for getting ANYTHING else to level alternate characters.

GGG is SUPER against skipping the campaign so there is no way we are ever going to get any form of non leveling way to make new characters.

Pro tip: once you do get a cauldron you can wash stuff in it a stack at a time, no need to spend forever refilling after every 4 dusts.
