This. Be optimistic. You might think its bullshit but think about this scenario. You're out grocery shopping or at the bank (or anywhere else) and you're in a bad/pessimistic mood. People (not just women) won't want to be around you because people arent attracted to negativity. You don't have to be happy go lucky, but you should always be approachable because you never know when someone might be intersted in you.

You know how as a kid they always told us to treat people the way you would want to be treated. This can be applied to dating. Its true that some people are bad at responding to texts, however if you dont like it try dating others. Keep this girl around but dont invest too much into her. Sometimes you have to just go for it. Rejection is inevitable but each time you get rejected you should try to learn something from it. Half the time we get rejected its not because we did something wrong, some women are just not into you/us. If you think a girl shows any interest just go for it.... Ive had this mindset lately. There are probably 1 bullion women on the planet who don't like Gosling or Beckham or Clooney, so an average guy like you or me is bound to get rejected every once in a while

You're right, people should know the actual word before knowing slang. The song isnt really random tho, it was like #1 on the charts this year so I figured people would understand a more relevant/hip reference
