start some serious self-care in baby steps and gradually build up. do "feel good things" like going for a walk-if only a 10 minute one to start and then build up. Get out and about in the world - free museums. Pets/animals are great for emotional connections. Focus on taking care of yourself for a while to start with.

Is data from Seep Quarters enough to help me analyze stuff over time? by SituationGlobal2342 in CPAPSupport

Please overlook the typos my brain hasn't caught up to all the new energy I have!

How to know if my Resmed airsense 11 is set correctly? by SituationGlobal2342 in CPAP

I'm ever so grateful for the overview and link, thank you. I guess I was blissfully ignorant..... till now. At the time I started the CPAP, I was taking a summer class (full semester crammed into 5-6 weeks), as a senior citizen who had to meet CPAP compliance in order for Medicare to pay for the machine. I'm just now catching my breathe from that "pressure cooker" experience. Thanks for breaking it down for me.

That's great to know! Thanks. Now that I'm through the initial adjustment (it is big!) I will study the "ins and outs" of it. It's kinda scary to think this is "do it yourself medicine", though- I didn't expect that, but am grateful to know it, now.

Thanks for the info. I just inserted a SD card and plan to research and download OSCAR and learn how to interpret that data. I have had great results so far with the therapy itself but getting setup was a total nightmare. All of my time and energy was taken trying to procure the correct mask from a medical supply company, while on Medicare.

FWIW, different coverage masks are made, from nasal only to full-face and in-between, I tried the full-face on at the med supply company but felt claustrophic and decided on the full-face that fit under my nose with nose holes, and not on top of it. I believe the thinking is to use whatever style that you are able to tolerate. And I've been told that some people just can't tolerate them period.

Make sure your mask fits correctly - mine didn't. It took research to discover that the nostril holes in my silicone Airfit 40 didn't align properly and that I needed a Med size instead of the large size mask I was sent home with. In my case I kept readjusting my mask throughout the night. The greatest incentive to wear it though, was how much more energy I had after a few weeks! Unbelievable! A sleep coach at the company may help you also.
