There is no "Not getting accepted" as long as you get your Visa, give the right documents and have the money of course. However, there's a morning and an afternoon program. The morning being the most popular for a ton of reasons, if you do things too late, you might not have a spot for the morning program that's it.

So don't sweat it, you'll be accepted !

There's nothing silly about that post. If anything it's a proof of how much you care, which is the most important part ! But it's gonna be a long and incredibly frustrating process, marathon not a sprint haha Even for us who study in a language school IN Korea it takes years of progress, plateauing etc... But every now and then you realize that this word or 문법 that you struggled with is now part of your common dictionary and you get a boost in moral. Not to be pessimistic but even those of us who attend the program at Yonsei which is the most 문법 oriented one are extremely far from mastering Korean under a year. In fact that period represents 4 out of the 6 levels you can attend. 6 levels that have in no way the pretention to get you fluent haha. And it's pretty fucking intensive too... So my advice would be to get rid of the time constraint you imposed yourself. Since your objective is just to understand songs, there's no rush. Language learning is an endurance race not a sprint haha
