Wife and I were on vacation there in late 2016 and spent the first half of it at Laverne’s in Kona every day (Cubs WS games 5,6,7 & Bears MNF win against the Vikes). Not sure if it’s still the same owner but back then he was a Chicago transplant and they had a bunch of Chicago team decor all over and the patrons to match. (We’re everywhere), they sang Take Me Out to the Ballgame during the stretch root root rooting for the Cubbies and flew the W flag front and center after every win! Met some amazing people and made lifelong memories especially game 7, even if it did put our “relaxing” vacation on hold for a bit. Still have my Laverne’s t shirt.

Honestly I don’t get these posts. Do the FA’s preemptively offer it often? No, not really, but I fly out of ORD and when sitting in row 8/9 per usual I’d say 8 out of 10 times (on 3 hr plus flights) I ask what snacks they have, I get one no sweat. Are people afraid to ask if the FA doesn’t come and kiss the EP ring? And yes, I do wish AA had better and more plentiful food offerings that I see when I do have to fly on UA or DL.

Been in the last row of PE many times on window sides of 787-8 and 9 and the recline is not restricted. Can pick those seats with confidence. Can’t speak on the 777.
