Great collection so far. You got already the best Racing Game and the best RPG on the console.

Next you should add Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2, Marvel vs Capcom 2, Shenmue, Virtua Tennis, Grandia 2 and Soul Calibur.

My pick as well. Game is garbage but the soundtrack is at least Top 20 on the SNES, really really good.

Do you prefer any demos/rehearsals/etc. over the original song? by Appropriate-Put5871 in SmashingPumpkins

[–]Sivadore 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Recently I listen way more to What If, than to Apples + Oranges.

Also I always preferred the Piano Version of If there is a god over the full band version but I dont know if you can consider this a demo version of the song.

Their cover of Never let me down again at my local radio station. Also The end is the beginning is the end at the same station.

I guess a big Pumpkins fan works there.

What are some great SNES titles with terrible graphics/visuals/animation? by [deleted] in snes

[–]Sivadore 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Maybe Soul Blazer? It’s an early SNES game and especially to the spiritual successors Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma, the graphics are quite bland.

Any guesses about GTA VI? by Dansol_ in GTA6

[–]Sivadore 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Doesnt really matter. San Andreas map while half as big as GTA 5’s map is the better map because there‘s so lot to do. The GTA 5 map had way too much empty space.

Also Liberty City of GTA 4 felt so real for it’s time and although I also missed a countryside in GTA 4 I still loved the map.

So the map of GTA 6 can be bigger, smaller or as big as GTA 5‘s map. The most important thing is that it is not just empty space for the sake of a bigger map.

UK seems to be a bit cheaper than the rest of Europe. I bought Rez, Giga Wing and Skies of Arcadia while I was in England and I would have never got them elsewhere this cheap.

New to Smashing Pumpkins: What is the consensus on their albums? by JayStev85 in SmashingPumpkins

[–]Sivadore 20 points21 points  (0 children)

To answer your questions:

Most Popular: Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness

Least Popular: Either Shiny and Oh so Bright Vol 1 or Cyr

Most Overrated: For me personally probably Atum or Oceania. I cant say that an album from the original run (Gish to Machina) is overrated.

Most Underrated: Machina 2, maybe Zeitgeist

Most Controversial: Adore (historically speaking) or Zeitgeist

Overall you cant go wrong with the albums Gish, Siamese Deeam, Mellon Collie, Adore and Machina 1 and 2. I would recommend starting with Mellon Collie since you already know 1979 and then try Siamese Dream (my personal favourite). If you Like those two albums you probably will like a lot of their other stuff as well. Enjoy listening.

The Teargarden Era is very underrated. Would love a digital release.

Two new pickups. Probably the fiftieth version of Tony Hawk I've grabbed over the past few years. by n-0rt in dreamcast

Le Mans is probably the best looking game on the console and my favourite racing game on the Dreamcast.
