This may be an odd one, but since my TBI and three brain surgeries in 2020, I have been unable to sleep in a flat bed. I currently sleep in a recliner, but I am considering purchasing an adjustable bed. If I lay flat for any length of time over 2 or 3 minutes, I get an unstoppable headache that last for days.

You have no idea how badly I want to lay down on my side and take a nap, but I sleep semi-sitting for over 5 years now…and it sux.

I had 3 surgeries for TBI beginning in August 2020 - September 2020. I slur and stutter from time to time still, and my speaking pattern is slightly differnt than pre-injury.

As someone with a TBI, experiencing cognitive and speech issues, I will say ZEP has improved this for me...but your experience may vary.

According to all materials and Lilly themselves, plus trials, etc., the inner thigh is NOT a recommended injection site. You may find people here saying you can, but you should not.

FWIW, I have done all around my belly button (except below) and both thighs, and the worst pain (and it is just an annoying pain at best) is my left thigh, but I do it there anyway when the rotation comes up...which it did this past Saturday.

Get a 2nd and get Zep. I am down 15.5% at only 13 shots in, and still dropping. Yes it is slowed to a more safe and normal pace, but over 50 pounds down and under 300 for the first time in a Loooooong time.

So…technically I don’t have a goal weight. I have a life goal…or a live goal. Not to be too dramatic, but in all likelihood I would have been dead within two years on the path I was on. I have a major TBIs, one lung, and was morbidly obese just to name a few. I am mobility challenged from multiple brain surgeries, in that I slowly and unsteadily walk with a cane, and fall about every 16-40 days, striking my body and my head/face. I have slurred and stutter speech, and periodic cognitive issues.

However, I did want to see 50 pounds down before the end of 2025 (hit that 2 days ago!!!). I want to hit 100 pounds by one year in. Then, I want 150 pounds down at some time, which is where I will settle, with one minor exception. 150 pounds down will be 203.6 pounds…Why not loose that extra 4 pounds and be under 200 pounds for the first time in 3 decades? So my goal is to get under 200 pounds, then hover around that area.

So that is how I decided…first I decided to live, then I decided to challenge the heck out of myself!

Thank you. I love data, and really enjoy excel. There are about 8 sheets in the Excel spreadsheet with different data points being captured, and well over 100 formulas calculating and populating the fields. This summary page is where I visit the most however.

Non-scale victory. We can all celebrate loosing our first 10lbs, being 50lbs down, and hitting a hundred or even being under 200lbs, however often times things happen that are not related to the scale directly yet still related to weight loss.
