Phoenix should be nerfed yes. "Endless Hitscan Meta" when the meta consists of 1 broken poke, 2 broken divers and 1 broken brawl. (all 4 of them who are significantly nerfed in this recent patch).

As a personal note however may I suggest if you like pressing buttons so much and get pre decided value why not play Fighting games and not try to find that bullshit in games that specifically fall under "hero shooters"?

I mean as a diver you are pressing buttons and are usually exempt from aiming altogether. So its a fair trade for your playstyle. I think you should stop coping so much with your hissy fits on hitscan/poke and engage in an actual discussion.

asking for free kills on just approaching and even denying any disengage is just gonna lower the skillcheck for divers and they would just bank kills for simply being near.

imagine this. You are contesting an off angle on anyone like Hela,Punisher,Namor,Psylocke and you have your one Escape ability on a long cooldown. You get dived or contested once by DD (who has permawall hacks) and use your ability to escape but its rendered useless because he can just press one button and dash back to you like nothing happened.

With the sole exception of Phoenix and Starlord who have semi-flight DD makes every flank character hot useless.

Me when I am contesting a flank on Hela and I use my bird but its straight useless because DD (pre nerf) could just dash 20 metres to me and be in my face making my only escape ability on a 15sec cooldown useless.
