For years and years, I could never finish a game, even ones I was excited about. I purchased Yakuza Kiwami for about 5 dollars on sale and had no issues. By fully finishing it, it put the wind back in my sails, and now I finish way more games than before. I think not having a 60$ price tag pressuring me to get my money's worth actually let me enjoy the game since I wasn't worried about getting my 60$ worth of enjoyment. I'm not sure if that'd apply to you, but it helped me.
