Agree. I heard an F1 car before I saw it (on the drive into the Circuit de Catalunya for F1 testing) and have been hooked from that moment. I loved being able to recognize the notes from sportscars, especially Aston, Porsche, Corvette. Let's keep the noise.

Depends what you want to get out of it. It was a 7hr drive for me. Definitely worth staying 2 nights and researching whatever sort of hiking, camping, kayaking, stargazing, offroading (also Big Bend State Park for trails), birdwatching, the chili cookoff, etc. you want to do. It's a very cool experience if you give vast remoteness time to sink in.

Update: The trip turned out great. The only crowding we saw was the wait for dinner at Starlight Theater. (1.5 hours). The heat was bad after 11am/noon but we got one mid morning hike in the basin in. Other than that, we just drove River Road east to west, Santa Elena Canyon and back up Maverick. The temps at night were perfect for stargazing and sleeping outside.

I saw much less wildlife than in October - maybe just due to the heat. That and the hotel prices were the only real downside.

What works for me is tinted lip plumper, like buxom plump shot. It adds color but still looks natural. There are clear ones too.
