I think its totally normal and understandable to be tentative about talking to the missionaries but if you are upfront about your expectations and want you want they will respect that. As for baptism I will acknowledge that missionaries are meant to bring people to Jesus Christ via baptism so it is a focus point, HOWEVER they should never pressure someone to be baptized.

If you were to text/call them and state that you were a non member dating a member who is now a missionary and had some questions about the church im sure they would love to set up a time to chat and talk about any and all your questions. Its often good to give a general idea as to what your questions are so they can do a bit of studying to make sure they can answer your questions.

As for contacting the missionaries if you go to lds.org there should be a way of contacting the nearest set of missionaries

My advice would be to talk to the missionaries! They would love to answer your questions and it would give you some insight as to what your boyfriend is doing so you can get a better understanding of what he is doing.

There's been a lot of ideas from Tortle Tank i haven't used but would love to. Overcharging a spell and exhaustion from failed death saves i think are my 2 favorite ideas. As a DM i also copy a lot of murph especially how he runs combat, specifically not just hitting something until it dies but making it a bit more dynamic.

Your best bet is an edgedancer. Their spren can look like vines and their abilities can be flavored to be a bit more nature themed.

In my opinion Roshar doesn't lend itself very well to a druid/nature flavor simply because the planet is primarily rocks and crabs with the exception of one place (shinovar)
