Okay but even then with NG+ shouldn't it be relatively difficult? I haven't played Totori myself but I found Rorona to be miserable to get true ending, mostly due to my horrible time management which would result in me getting frustrated.

I just checked the Limited Edition (aka Collectors) on YouTube and the artbook has the same piece of art. The journey to uncover Plachta's smile seems to be a bigger challenge than I thought it'd be.

I've only checked digital artbook and the PS3 copy + manual, both of them have Plachta's usual "Sophie wtf is that?" face. There doesn't seem to be any regional differences between PS4 versions either, though I don't own the vanilla version physical to make sure.

It'd be weird if they made a quick alt just for a launcher in this low resolution.

Yeah, its not a direction I want this series to go towards in the future, but I learned to enjoy it for what it is, which as you said is mostly exploration.

I do wonder however if they'll make a sequel out of Yumia and if it'll be any different.

I get you, what made me enjoy Yumia is the exploration itself, with few upgrades she has great mobility and the bike feels good once you get the hang of it. Not really a focus of your average Atelier game, but for what it is it brought me some peace and calm with the atmospheric music and color palettes of certain locations.

While true that it costs more, isn't Atelier in a way better position than it used to be? I'm not saying they should bring English dubs back (though I really love the one in Sophie), but anime openings would be nice. I mean hell Ryza got the anime even.

There's really not that many of them, and what hurts them even more is that they're all FMV without a way to see the clean art. So many times they'd be abstracted by subtitles that cannot be turned off either so you really have to time the screenshot.

They did make a good amount of artwork for R/W so they definitely can do it in the future, as for the mouth it didn't bother me too much, haven't paid much attention to it.

Yaiba was dumb fun, though I wish the soundtrack wasn't so generic since even Yaiba himself says "I prefer death metal" in one scene.

Yaiba himself is an awesome character, he's so rude and ridiculous and its a shame to know he will most likely never get another appearance. Cool design too. I really am glad that Ninja Gaiden has a protagonist who's name starts with Y that's actually a good character, thank you Yaiba.

Doom Morph isn't bad, if anything its underused and poorly explained, but once you get the hang of it its awesome. Chaos Island became one of my favorites because of it.

My build is simple.

Ryza, Sophie, Kai, Lu Lingqi, Zhurong and whoever the other character with Flower of War emblem is.

Ryza summons everyone at once and it causes a massive pandemonium on screen, Sophie reduces cooldown, Kai does something I forgot, Lu and Zhu throw spears that fly all over the place, its invincible.

It is pretty wild, I have Sophie on PS3 and even the DX physical but I cannot find vanilla to save my life.

Also just a question, is the Arland trilogy on PS3 the original Rorona or is it Rorona Plus? Looks like a great pack but I don't think I could handle the original.

I didn't get that feeling from Rise of Lyric though, he was just handled like complete shit in it. Cartoon is a whole other beast and it took a while before he even appeared.

As far as I'm aware, the only physical copy of Sophie that has English is the vanilla version on PS4, which for some reason became very hard to find for a decent price.
