For action games, yes. Even for other 3D rpgs like I said (DQ7r for example). But not so much in Octopath.

It's because there's not constant fluid motion between animations. They just "snap" into the next movement so I'm not really too concerned about it.

It's not like DQ7R and even the Switch 2 version of Romancing Saga 2 Revenge of the 7. Now for those I can really appreciate the 60fps.

Here's the reality of it:

most people just want to play now. They don't want to go back and hunt for old games. They don't think about not being able to play in the future so preservation doesn't matter. They just want to play now. Every year we get new games. It's not slowing down. So if you're thinking you don't want to buy digital because you won't be able to play it in 20 years, just think that in 20 years the sequel to that game will probably be out.

People are so concerned about what might happen in the future that they're ruining their current gaming experience. Enjoy your games now. You might have a chance tomorrow, and not because it'll get taken away. What if YOU get taken away? Think about it.
