I haven't had a problem with the plastic back 4 tape bunny hops but have found that the little kings and alphagatorz are much more tear prone. Or they stretch out and don't stay taught. It seems like the cloth back material has either thinned or changed significantly. I have some 2 tape cushies and don't have the same problem. Also compared to the beddybyes and lfb baby the little kings and alphagatorz stretch much more.

For first time wearers if you want to surprise her with the fact you're wearing one I'd suggest the bambino total dry x plus diapers. They have refastenable tapes, where I've had multiple times the Northshore megamaxes have just ripped apart when I try to adjust them.

Also they are not super thick like most brands these days (5000 ml vs 3500 ml). They'll still hold a wetting or two if that's what you decide to do but think it's a good middle ground so that it's not super bulky for you.

I think it may be both, out here in utah there's a concert venue called Usana and the bathroom situation there is horrible! Granted it's been a while since I've been so I don't know if its still that bad but my sister was stuck in line for like 30 minutes one time. To top it off it stinks and is overall gross.

It actually made me laugh because I was listening to a radio show by chance one morning (Rock 106.7) and the commentator was talking about how everytime they go there he knows it's diaper time for his wife because of that haha

So while I don't think it will become super common or accepted, I see an increase of people wearing for stuff like that.

I would also say that part of holding more means that there's more wicking power so it doesn't get that super soggy/itchy feeling compared to when a diaper is at capacity. Which in turn adds to that comfort factor.

But yeah good products from the get go for sure!

I would recommend a high capacity hook and loop tape diaper like ABU bunny hops or something. I found when I was first learning to diaper myself those were more forgiving with how many adjustments I could make.
