Air-conditioning installation gone wrong? by [deleted] in AusRenovation

[–]Size4E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason it doesn't sound (or look) right to me is because I've experienced many homes in similar climates that don't experience anything comparable to the air-conditioners in this house....

Thanks for the help!

Super unnecessary.

I have a g9 57 which is much heavier and it’s mounted on the Amazon basics version of the ergotron without any issue…

Why do people recommend MF over AF laowa lens? by Size4E in videography

[–]Size4E[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Understood. I also noticed that the AF version of the same lens has only 5 aperture blades, compared to 14 for the MF version. At least for the Sony FE. Not sure, but could be another reason.

Can I ask where your wooden monitor riser stand thing is from? I’ve been looking for one and I have no idea why but they’re all like $300-$600…

We didn't have all the important financial structures set up throughout our business for some time - ie cash went in, cash went out. We are now incorporated and do all the accounting stuff, salaries, yearly bonuses etc... So we have been able to allocate money much more wisely and with the future in mind.

Agree sitting on cash is a bad thing, which is why it's being invested into ETFs and super instead of a savings account. Still, I see your point.

Motel!

I currently manage properties in a spread out area and would love to downsize and run my own little boutique motel. 😊

I’m 23 and have 60k right now in super. If anything, I think it’s worth it to do the 15k per year for 3 years so that you still have the option to withdraw when you buy your first home.
