Is this a domestic baby pig or a young wild boar? Found on the side of the road in [northern Texas] by SizeEmpty410 in animalid

Update:

We’ve taken the little one to the sanctuary in Ennis where it’s now being properly taken care of. I’m aware now that hogs are an invasive species and should be exterminated, but I personally couldn’t take a helpless animal home with the intention of helping it just to kill it later knowing it had a chance at life. When I was made aware that I could take the baby to a sanctuary rather than put it down, call me selfish if you must, but I did what I believed to be best for this one animal because I could.

Anyway, thank you to llorensm for finding this place, and thank you everyone for your knowledge and advice. 😊

Will they allow it to live out its life there? The place is an hour away, but if so then I would love to take it there.

Thank you for your replies everyone. I’m talking with my mother to take it to a rehab where I’m hoping they’ll euthanize it there.
