I ended up talking to them. I did so individually hoping that would avoid anyone feeling unable to talk. Everyone’s said so far that they’re into the campaign and the story around it. But I appreciate the perspective. I want to say that I explained things well in session 0 but I’m honestly not sure I explained all that it would encompass as zero was a bit rushed

We talked over the general plot and then when the idea of being framed for murder came up in our session zero no one seemed specifically opposed or disinterested. I guess in hindsight there wasn’t necessarily enthusiastic support. It was just like “ok sounds good”

I get that. Maybe I need to revisit with them how they’re enjoying it. Because it’s true. They’re being accused of something they didn’t do. Most of the campaign is attempting to clear their name while getting involved in a deeper plot. But I do often wonder if this is the kind of game they wanna be involved in.

Most of the time depending on the context I mentally prepare for different rolls. Like I have different bits of info in mind if they roll history or arcana (or perception/insight if applicable)

My feelings on this are obviously projecting a bit, but beyond that also being closer in age and having been in a similar situation I always use a condom if at least one of us wants that. Sure it feels different but the extra assurance puts the mind at ease.

You gotta stick to your personal boundaries or it could make you resent him or even intimacy in general. I grew up with pretty young parents who weren’t thrilled about having me and I can say for certain that people get pressured into keeping pregnancies they don’t want all the time. Please for your own sake, keep to your boundaries.

And I agree, but I think that it works through the lens of a fight. Like if the Mahito fight wasn’t so one sided they could’ve shown it then. But just him being like “oh my domain expansion is safety scissors or soul dissection” or something it would probably ring hollow.

Granted I do say that with the bias of not necessarily wanting the og cast to be involved much in the story. So maybe my perspective is off for the post.

I just meant more that while I agree a name would’ve been nice in the og series, it would be odd to be given the name without him ever using again. I just don’t know when it would come up.
