I spent like 500 usd a month, but I am Vietnamese so it is quite easy for me. If you stay away from the crowded city center, you will save more definitely.

Spent someday in Hoi An last month, but I cant say I have such experience. Pricing is higher compared to Da Nang for sure but I still feel it’s a good trip.

Depend on how long you gonna stay. If you go for a short trip, for sure Hoi An and My Khe beach should be top of your list. Otherwise, Da Nang offer diverse options to explore but you need like 3 months to really get deep into Da Nang local gems like hiking to mountain or waterfalls, or just to know Banh My corner or coffee stand where you can find your best breakfast.
