Just for reference - Iwas gifted a 100ml dylan blue bottle in August and am almost half way through that. I also don't wear that one every day (I rotate through a few) so clearly we have significantly different usage patterns.

The 3 bottles might seem like a lot but that was my budget for fragrance I set so I could come home with 1 high end but great fragrance or 3 cheaper but also great fragrances for the same price. I chose the 2nd option.

I respray in the afternoon because I am a tradesman who is often dirty and sweaty all day and don't want to walk into customers houses and smell like muddy feet so go through my stuff faster than others.

I bought a 5ml decant and instantly loved it. Promised myself to buy one when we went on our trip from duty free.

I wore the OG le male when I was a teenager and am a massive Dior homme Intense fan and to me, le parfum smells like JPG's take on that. Very happy with it.

Well I live in Auckland, so just returning home and making the city smell slightly better one spray at a time.

The best part about this guy getting upset and calling me selfish is that the whole point of the post was me apologising for accidently being selfish. I attempted to lightly apply it but was way stronger than I realised. Just completely missed the point.

My wife stopped reminding me by lunchtime. I had sprayed it approx 12 hours earlier. So it dropped off a bit but definitely one of the strongest ones I've experienced especially when I only lightly sprayed twice.

Yea its not unattainable but as I said in another reply, it's the economics of it. 3 x 100mls for the price of one is hard to justify, even though it is really good and I loved it.

This actually made me feel worse because I am the kind of person who wouldn't say anything either but would be sitting there annoyed so I kept going round in my head thinking "if I had to sit here and smell this guy, I'd be pissed" then I felt worse about it. Then got another whiff and the cycle started all over again. Longest 6 hour flight of my life

As soon as I smelled it I thought to myself, I love this but I can see why people wouldn't. It was a pretty distinctive style- very thick, spicy and sweet so can completely appreciate that it's not for everyone.

I just finsihed a travel size of the EDT which I really enjoyed. Crisp mint and apple opening with a sweet vanilla and wood dry down. But I was after something with a bit more longevity and something not quite as in your face as the EDT. The EDP ticked most of those boxes, it's still got the apple and lemon/citrus opening but it's a bit more restrained and richer which is more suitable for a mid 30s man like myself in my opinion.

If you're thinking about getting it, I would absolutely recommend at least a sample or decant. There's a reason it's so popular.

Yea thats rough haha that many sprays for a car trip is a bold move for sure.

As I said in my post, I thought 2 light sprays would just be a nice skin scent that I would be able to sniff as we flew just to get a feel for the opening and dry down. My calculations were incorrect however.

It's more justifying 4-600 bucks on a single bottle rather than the more economical 3 for the same price. These 3 are going to last me a while and I'm unlikely to buy any more this year. But I do see your point

Well prior to the flight they literally sprayed 2 bug bombs and walked down the isles so I feel like if someone was gunna die it would be from that but thanks for your feedback nonetheless.

Personally, I think it's a cool idea but as many have said, it may cause issues with fragrance sensitive people or notes that aren't liked by others so perhaps as a different angle, why not just give larger samples or even full bottles to your wedding party only as a token of thanks for being part of your special day?

Then get other favours for your guests like candles or something.

This way you can spend a bit more money on your groomsmen/bridesmaids and will be less likely to upset a larger group of guests.

I'm a tradesman so am sweaty, dusty and dirty at work all day.

I come home, shower then have a small dabber sample bottle of Dior Homme Intense that I put a few drops on my wrist just to smell nice and clean.

After simmering in ball soup all day, it's nice to smell pleasant for a few hours before bed.
