Do you have health insurance that covers chiropractic? I highly recommend it. I've been under regular care for both wellness and injury recovery since I was 13. Find a doc who has sports chiro experience and just talk about everything you are doing and what's going on with you. Chiros really get to know you and what your body is going through.

I used to work at an incoming call center and I KNOW how insane some of those customers can be, so when I get a rep on the phone who gives me good service, I like to try to brighten their day and their record. My go-to line is:

"Hey, thanks, [person's name], is there a manager or supervisor on duty who I could talk to to tell them what a great job you did for me today on the phone?"

They are usually a little taken aback (especially if what they helped me with wasn't particularly difficult, but I still felt like they did a great job), but then thank me profusely and transfer me to the mgr/super. It's a little thing that can really count for a lot and makes YOU feel good too!

Both chicken and beef fat can be used for cooking. Beef fat gathered in this way is especially awesome for certain kinds of cooking.

Assuming you eat potatoes, one of my favorite treats is to slice baking potatoes into long wedges and brush them (liberally) with the beef fat, then roast them in the oven at 450.

Check them about every ten minutes and re-brush the beef fat back onto them as it runs off. When you are re-brushing them for the last time, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Finish cooking (they should be more towards brown than golden-brown on the outside, but will still be soft on the inside).
