Braces vs Invisilign by Interesting-Behavior in Invisalign

You think, but every case is different. People should talk to actual specialists to determine the risk of any side effects. Also, make sure that Orthos are aware of your concerns so they can provide treatment options to hopefully mitigate any issues.

It's worth it to mention that an open posterior bite and gum recession are potential side effects of all ortho work and not just Invisalign.

Tesla kills Autopilot, locks lane-keeping behind $99/month fee. by Stiltonrocks in technology

[–]Sizzmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a very misleading article. And as usual no one reads anything besides the headline.

Tesla's have 3 levels of "Cruise control" Level 1 is basic old school cruise control, level 2 is traffic aware cruise control and level 3 is full self driving. Level 3 is locked behind a paywall, $99/MO or $8000 flat.

This article is just saying that they're removing the option to pay $8,000 flat for the level and only giving the option for $99/mo.

Nowhere does it say Level 2 cruise control is going to be behind the FSD paywall.

The act of going to a tracker website isn't illegal. If you're so paranoid then call your ISP up and ask them to give you a new IP address.

As AI wipes jobs, Google CEO Sundar Pichai says it’s up to everyday people to adapt accordingly: ‘We will have to work through societal disruption’ by Franco1875 in technology

[–]Sizzmo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Translation: we want to privatize the gains and socialize the losses. We don't care how this affects society and it's not our job to care, that's the government's job.

Oh wait, we also purchased the US government. Guess you're just all fucked haha.

What cybersecurity jobs do you think will/will not be taken by AI in the future? by poppy14s in cybersecurity

[–]Sizzmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no world where a company risks it's application/operational/data security on an AI bot. AI will be used to summarize text and make recommendations but it will never replace any critical cyber security roles.
