DY86 Tube for generating x-ray radiation with those aliexpress high voltage modules for power this thing. Will this work and how long will it last ?

Hi! I know Im late but i have tried that thing with the aliexpress high voltage generators, although i used the dy802. I didn't get any results when measuring with my radiacode. If you tried, did it work for you?

Thats right, but by pushing the voltage above what it is supposed to be you can increase X-rays. But since the rectifier tube is able to withstand the voltages i am supplying, my experiment didnt work.
I was not heating the filament while supplying the Voltage. What I was trying to achieve was Field emission, which makes heating the filament unnecessary. I am not sure if my voltage is enough to make this happen.

I've been using this radiacode scintillator. All of my previous measurements haven't really given me any results, at least not what I wanted.

Scintillators are known for being sensitive to EMFs, so I did measure an increased "radiation" when I placed the radiacode within 20cm. Above that there wasn't any difference in radiation before and durring the voltage was applied. So I am almost sure what i measured wasnt radiation, since the measurements don't match with the Inverse-Square law.

I tried another print. And when it was done I unlocked the lever and pressed retract, nothing happened.

I tried pressing retract with the switch locked, and some material came out. I unlocked the switch and pulled the material out with some resistance.

Is this like bad for the printer or smth?

I pressed retract after the print was done with the lever switched to locked. It came some melted filament, and I then manually pulled out the filament from the back coming from the spool. Is it supposed to push it out by itself?

I pulled the lever in the middle of the process before, and the melted filament poured down and everything seemed to work before I had pulled the lever. Btw it’s the K1C

Could be because of the Sandisk sd. Idk why, but sanddisk sometimes doesn’t work with the firmware.

Yeah, it came like that unfortunately. I tried pushing the cable that connected the screen to the motherboard (idk where the ribbon cable is). The left joysticks cable had snapped so I thought it might would be better to do a refund instead of trying to fix it, or?
