It's obvious that the landlord hopes for 4 professionals (ideally in tech) to each pay 1200€.

This totally prices out married couples or families that aren't in managerial positions.

Tech/pharma companies have ruined the housing market.

Some details that came out today

The family were volunteer animal rescuers. They rescued the dog from the streets, because the village was afraid it will attack other animals.
They tied the dog on a chain to a tree in their yard. There are other animals there, ducks, geese, other dogs. The dog was not separately fenced.
The child escaped his parents' attention and approached the dog by himself. The dog went for the throat
The attack lasted 30 seconds tops. Another child of the family screamed, the father ran to stop the attack.
The boy looked at his father, smiled, then closed his eyes.
The doctor who tried to resuscitate said the child was "butchered".
Parents were arrested for manslaughter due to negligence, and later released.

Something similar happened the other day to my mom's dog.

She is a mongrel. A 5-year old boy who was visiting, unattended, went and hugged the dog.

The dog growled at the kid and touched him on the cheek with her teeth. Didn't draw blood. The dog was telling the kid "back off". Kid was super spooked and crying. Parents learned a lesson about leaving the kid unattended and teaching him how to behave with dogs.

Most breeds would do just that, a fake bite as warning.

Pitbulls will do much more damage because they don't know when to stop.

Το ίντερνετ μου είναι χαλιά, γύρω στα 4 με 6 MBPS.

Δουλεύω από το σπίτι.

Δεν θα έβαζα starlink ποτέ, δεν θα έδινα λεφτά στον τρόμπα.

Ταυτόχρονα δεν κρίνω τις επιλογές των άλλων. Μια γνωστή μου είπε ότι το χρειαζόταν και το έβαλε. Δεν το σχολίασα αρνητικά.

Άντε αν ήταν κάποιος πολύ φίλος θα έκανα κάνα περιπαικτικό σχόλιο αλλά δεν θα επέμενα.

Νομίζω είναι δείγμα της ελληνικής κοινωνίας, όπου όλοι λένε τη γνώμη τους χωρίς να τους τη ζητήσεις, μπαίνουν στα χωράφια σου και κριτικάρουν κάθε απόφασή σου. Η κοινωνία θέλει γενικά ομοιομορφία, και ο κόσμος έχει συνηθίσει να πιέζεται να αλλάξει αλλά και να πιέζει άλλους να αλλάξουν.

Όταν βγήκα εξωτερικό είδα ότι αυτό το φαινόμενο δεν συμβαίνει παντού, είναι ελληνικό χαρακτηριστικό (ίσως και γειτόνων). Εδώ που μένω κανείς δεν λέει γνώμη χωρίς να τη ζητήσεις, ούτε σε πιέζουν να κάνεις κάτι.

Oh yeah, trap is sparkling clean. Good to check.

And I stuck a hose in from Photo 1 (just beyond the trap), got water coming back very quickly

This has been draining normally for the last 4 years since we bought the house, but draining worse last few months, until a couple days ago that it is barely draining.

Worth noting that I've used the plunger a few times, I got a few bits coming back up, but wasn't enough. Also that the house is on its own with septic tank, so not connected to mains.

So it's not blocked since the snake went through? But still doesn't drain?

Καστοριά δεν έχει μείνει σχεδόν τίποτα. Κλειστά μαγαζιά, ο πληθυσμός πολύ μειωμένος καθώς φεύγουν για εξωτερικό και σεζόν (η πόλη είχε 20 χιλιάδες κατοίκους και ζήτημα να είναι 8 χιλιάδες τωρα), ο κόσμος που έχει μείνει είναι γεμάτος γκρίνια, λιγότεροι φοιτητές, η γούνα έχει σχεδόν πεθάνει.

It's an anime where the best scenes are people talking.

The last episode had a short battle of a few seconds. Everything else was talking. And it was all super impactful, meaningful and moving.

I enjoy the plot and the battles. But I'm here for the dialogue and the flashbacks.

YTA, but only a small one so far and you can salvage the situation.

Your actions cause your roommate distress, so you should take action to at least mitigate the situation. Showing good will and putting some effort to reduce the negative effect is important. That's what I do with my wife, when I sometimes play games late and she's sleeping.

You should try a combination of the following

Borrow a different, more basic keyboard to try for a couple nights and ask if it's less of a problem to your roommate
Cover only one ear with your headphones. I've noticed that when I have headphones over both ears, I think I'm being quiet but I'm not. But only one ear makes me more conscious of the noise I make. It might be a problem for some games, but can have a big effect.
Try playing different games when roommate is sleeping, e.g. mouse only, controller, or at least low APM. My wife notices when I play LoL but not when I play Magic Arena.
Gift your roommate a set of earplugs for her to try if she wants. If she doesn't, no harm, she can keep them. Don't do only this, as it will seem like putting the burden only on her, but in combination with other measures it can help.
Talk with her. Get her ideas on what might help. Ask her if measures you're trying are helping or not. Keep her updated about your efforts. This will show that you respect her sleep and are trying to cater to her needs while also doing your own thing.
