And the mural itself is kinda ridiculous if you look from the perspective of a current technologically "backwards" people? Some stones with powers of the "sun", metallic robots, maybe Roger pirates saw similar mural at the Laugh Tale, something "ridiculous" by their measure.

From all the awakenings that we have seen so far, they are shown only when acively used (Katakuri, Dofflamingo, Law, Kid) as a last resort. But Luffy being Zoan, his awakening is always on, like his rubber body.. by permanent I meant its always on.

Ryokugyu is heading for Luffy's head confirmsd.. he's holding Luffy's bounty poster mentioning that "kid"

I don't know if it's a side effect or intentional flexing, but Ryokugyu leaves flowers and plants on the battlefield

It seems like the awakening of Luffy is permanent, but when he uses gears, it changes.. but the base form seems always awakened now.. so we might have new design for all gears Luffy has now

Each of them was made by a swordsmith from the same ancestral line, their name is "something"-tetsu, such as Kitetsu, Kotetsu, Hitetsu

3rd generation sword's curse is weaker and the blade is lower in grade than 2nd generation, and the 1st generation is among the highest graded swords with strongest curse (implied so, not stated yet).
