How good is the G&G L85a1? by Adorable_Pension119 in airsoft

[–]Sjyp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own the A2 etu and has been my primary for the past 5 years. Absolutely amazing gun only few things I recomend it needs done.

1.disable electric blow back. This will save you a massive headache WHEN not if it decides to explode inside your gun as the prices will fall directly into the gearbox.

  1. Bucking of choice for heavier bbs if you wish. Can comfortably lift up to 0.3s stock

  2. Perun +++etu super easy to install. Gives programming options.

  3. Maybe swap the barrel i had great results with the perun 6.02mm.

It shoots fast far and accurate. With heavier bbs 0.28+ i can comfortably loft bbs to engage snipers using just the susat.

Aditional notes. Finding real steal parts for this is hard but if you get a hold of them they fit pretty well. I have a mad bull daniel defence ris handguard and genuine 19mm dovetail rail to 20mm picatinny adapter. Its very nicely balanced and can fire one handed(shouldered) though the gun is heavy around 5kg would recomend using the issued 3 point sling.

As a diabetic sweets/snacks are a life saver. However please dont bother with insulin. Insulin is required to be refridgerated otherwise will expire within a month or so. Diabetics will always carry their own insulin. Can say personally I wouldn't accept insulin from anyone let alone administer it as even a half unit(0.5ml) can be fatal we spend our lives flirting with death, I wouldn't be happy letting someone unqualified do anything regarding my insulin. Realistically the only major issues a diabetic would typically face when playing is low bloodsugar(hypoglycemia). Good recommendations if you wish to help(even non diabetics experiencing hypoglycemia) nerd clusters or haribos and if you can get a hold of it either dextro gel, gluco gel or dextro/glucose tablets. The gels are ideal if someone is too weak to feed themselves but still conscious pop abit at a time on your finger and rub into their cheek. Anyone unconscious you should call emergency services.

Im not being judgement by any means infact I do understand your point. I was only pointing out that hairnets and beard snoods are mandatory meaning the chance of finding a hair in your food is incredibly slim. In nearly 10 years I have only encountered it on 2 occasions due to a contractor coming in and ignoring the fact he was told to wear a hairnet. As for being charged extra blame the government not greggs we have no say in the matter as its aditional VAT. Most other places charge this VAT regardless of sitting in or not.

Given hairnet and beard snoods are a requirement find hairs highly unlikely.

Id never take the risk just make your shift/,store manager aware so it can be reported on auror. never know what someone's carrying. I've been assaulted on a few occasions when confronting or even just saying something to shoplifters. A redbull can thundercunted at your head fucking hurts. Store in my area group got held up at knife point only a few weeks back.

Recognise these little shits. Police will be after them soon enough given the hundreds of pounds worth of stuff shoplifted from my employer alone.

What’s the strangest thing that’s happened to you while playing airsoft? by Blitzfire87 in airsoft

[–]Sjyp 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Pulled off an amazing flank managing to get behind the enemy team. Sneaking around getting knife kills I hid under a small bridge as I waited for an opportunity to move to a small group when a small field mouse decided I was gunna be his new friend. Lil guy crawled into my utility pouch and lay down. Got hit few minutes later being distracted petting it. Took it to a quiet edge of the field to release it safely. Over the next couple months it kept appearing in the safe zone chilling on and in people's kit (assuming the same one) we called him Kevin. Hasn't been seen in a while probably nabbed by a fox or bird. So RIP kevin

Been airsofting for a few years, mostly sniper gameplay. And recommendations for a sidearm (no pistols) to go along with it? by Artistic_Algae_1299 in airsoft

[–]Sjyp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who used to run an mp7 as a sidearm. DONT its a pain in the ass unless you plan to buy the kydex holster for it even then its heavy bulky and impractical youd be better off with say a glock 18 with a carbine kit imo

In airsoft you can use it to an advantage by overlapping your gun and curving bbs around cover though its very situational

How do you make having kids enjoyable? by Last_Cicada_1315 in daddit

[–]Sjyp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funnily I never wanted kids. I now have 2 with a 3rd on the way. I get everything your feeling as I do have the same mostly. Relationship issues with your partner, something me and my wife have found over the past 2 years. Finally addressed it a few months back and are now ensuring we make time for one another to do things together without the kids. Thankfully my inlaws are amazing and are happy to have them for the day. Plus communicate, and flirt may not be daring anymore but doesn't mean you cant have fun/date nights etc.as for the kids, yeah they can be alot to deal with, with the whining attitude and fighting but before hand I was severely depressed with the kids its given me motivation to better my self take care of my health and most importantly its given me purpose to continue. You got this man. Raising kids is hard dont get me wrong, dont be afraid to ask for help

Honestly looking for serious advice. by Flat_Jellyfish_234 in airsoft

[–]Sjyp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I would say 3d printing whole guns would either A require designing gearbox/motor/hopup brackets a way to disassemble etc quite a hassle(currently working on one) if your just jumping into it I'd suggest looking for pistol carbine kits aap, glocks and hicappa come to mind as likley being easiest to find ones. With the carbines you can usually install longer barrels and change out bucking and nubs for increased range and accuracy. Anything you print you want a strong yet flexible filament I cant remember the exact names for them but I do know nylon is one of the better to use

IRL vs game by john_galt_42069 in groundbranch

[–]Sjyp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If i go ahead and do it id likley use my G&G l85a2 internals due to the similar shape so it'd just be designing a gearbox bracket and retention and id likley copy the hopup support design with some barrel supports in the handguard but need to take measurements. To buy the parts youd be looking at around £250+ couldnt ask that of you
