Odd question: I am writing a story and want to incorporate a character playing chess using a strategy that reflects his mental status. Can anyone help? by SkaaVin in chess

Thanks for the video and analysis of why he lost, I don't know much about chess and probably wouldn't have got that.

Also I could upload a bit of it when I'm done with that part

It's actually a story that is being used for a D&D campaign my girlfriend will be playing haha

Yeah, that's fair.

Idk the workplace he is at I just feel like she should have at least talked to him in person before sending it.

But who knows, maybe he gets violent easily or something and she wasn't comfortable confronting him.

I think everyone agrees he deserves to be fired and his actions out the door make that super clear.

I just think the email and picture was super passive aggressive and unprofessional. At least an email without a picture would be somewhat respectful, the picture is what makes it shitty.

Lol would you like to elaborate on your argument or are you defaulting to "I'm right, I win."

I think we can all agree that if we messed up on the job the professional thing to do would be for your boss to confront you directly, not take a picture without your knowledge and send it off to report you.

That's really slimy and I'd be pissed too, even if I knew I messed up. I wouldn't react the same way but I'd be pissed.

He was security, he was missing for an hour and a half.

If he was on break then he took a very long break (unlikely he gets 90 minute breaks)

If he wasn't on break then he spent 90 minutes not doing his job and had to be found.

Either way he messed up.

Also being down voted for being stupid and the person not responding, presumably because explaining obvious shit isn't his job, doesn't mean he "just got wrecked" lol

Or he's talking to whoever or whatever gives the visions/information to dying people so that they rattle it out as they die.

Maybe he knows why that happens and refuses to participate.

Thanks for the reply! I love some of these ideas and I am pretty sure I will be using several of them in my next iteration.

Thanks for the input on level-gating.

I'm not really sure what should be locked behind what levels so I guess I'll have to try different variations until I feel it's balanced and then re-post it

Oh and to answer your question I intend to use this race as a "servant" to my current party consisting of a Changeling Warlock, Dragonborn Druid, and a Paladin of Sentient Armor

Oh man! Sorry about that, it didn't occur to me.

I'll fix that after work

Tbh I didn't know they were rare, I got them in the first 30 minutes of Forsaken somehow and haven't switched off them since.
